AKAR
CD album cover
Conceptual illustration for an ethno-techno music album. The music evoked the gods of ancient Egypt, and I chose to focus on developing the figure of Aker (the album's namesake), the god of the horizon.

Aker is traditionally depicted with a sun at the center and two lions positioned back to back on either side, never looking at one another, symbolizing yesterday and tomorrow. Starting from this mythological imagery, I reinterpreted the concept in my own way, infusing it with elegance and sensuality: a sun-woman who rules over time while cradling the two lions in her arms.

For the back cover, I revisited and reinterpreted a bas-relief from the Temple of Dendera, depicting figures supporting the sky.
In conclusion, the final result placed on mockup.
