Editorial illustration series
Series of editorial illustrations with the topic of "Body", currently submitted for the number 16th of the Magazine LOKZINE.
This series of illustrations focuses primarily on issues related to gender identity; this first one in particular depicts a character getting ready. There are various elements in the background, including a wig display. I like symbolism and I want to leave the reader the pleasure of discovering all the little storytellings that I put in the artwork
The second illustration is inspired by the old childhood toy, "Gira la moda," where you essentially rotated different body parts to create ever-changing characters.
It represents the theme of the randomness of the body assigned to us at birth, while still leaving space for the freedom to choose how to be or identify.
In this third "body" themed artwork, we have a character arranged in a toy box, as if it were a buildable doll. Only you can choose who to be.
In conclusion, in the fourth and last illustration I wanted to be free and explore the most primitive movements of the body, so I wanted to have fun and represent circus shows and a frame made with the most sensitive body parts
